Revival Fitness offers training suited for anyone. We serve athletes seeking to maximize performance, moms and dads trying to adventure into their 70's and 80's+, and anyone in between. We know high performing humans require strong hearts, lungs that can endure, powerful bodies, and a mind willing to embrace challenges. With this clear vision, we know that the elite athlete, and the adventurous grandma will benefit from the same training principles we employ.
-Detailed general warm up activating metabolic systems and taking joints through full range of motion.
-Movement specific warm up analyzing body mechanics and practice of neurologically stimulating movements.
-Challenging, functional movement based, daily workout. Systematically varied programming covering as many movement patterns and time domains as possible.
-Thorough cool down calming body back to rest and digest nervous system for maximizing recovery.
Daily workout tailored to meet the needs of the athlete at their current ability level, making fitness acheivable for anybody. This means literally anyone can partake, from the elite performer, to the sednetary just beginning their fitness journey.
Intensity drives results, but it looks different for everyone. Since it is so potent, it deserves attentive implementation. Considering this, we look for our athletes to bring whatever effort is appropriately challenging that day. "Minimum Effective Dose" is our goal, keeping our athletes fitness moving forward, but not beating them down with unneccasary volume, loading, or intensity.
We are here for the results. If the action does not produce progress towards the desired outcome, we do not do it. The aim of this program is to deliver proffesional, vigilant coaching. Unwaivering attention and focus on the fundamentals of proper movement mechanics will ultimately produce the best performance, safety, and efficiency of the human machine. We prove the effectiveness of this program by repeating a variety of workouts. Improvment in task accomplishment is the proof. Looking and feeling better is but a side effect of improving what we can physically do.
